Every badge is rolled from skin, suit, hair and background — 1,000 of them, no repeats. Rank rides on top of the art and resets to Intern the moment the badge changes hands.

How a badge is derived

  1. 01 Employer and badge number fall out of the token id — the 1,000 badges split across the six employers, 167 each for the first four and 166 for the last two. Nothing is stored.
  2. 02 Department comes from keccak(seed, tokenId) % 6, with the seed revealed once after the mint window closes.
  3. 03 Rank will live on the NFT contract and be read straight from chain. It sets the Payday weight, not the artwork.
  4. 04 The renderer composes those into one deterministic image. Same token, same rank, same picture — forever.
  5. 05 A rank that was bought rather than earned recolours the badge frame and keeps it until the badge changes hands.
